Donald Gibb has been running a medico-legal practice
for 14 years. There is a need for new experts with skills to deliver
expert opinion to facilitate Access to Justice. Whether it is for
the Claimant or the Defendant unbiased independent opinion is critical
to this process. Previously experts learned by trial and error.
There is now a system of education, training and accreditation of
experts. This programme will be highlighted at this course.
OBJECTIVE: To develop the knowledge and skills
to facilitate the administration and management of a medico-legal
practice in obstetrics and gynaecology.
To discuss cases in obstetrics and gynaecology
as examples of the medical issues involved.
To offer support to individuals developing such
practices.
