Medico - Legal was founded in 1990 by Doctor Donald Gibb while
working as a consultant at Kings College Hospital. Dr Donald
Gibb subsequently opened the Medico - Legal Practice at Parkway
House in Sheenbefore moving to Harley Street in April 2003.
In 1990 Dr Donald Gibb started providing
medical legal services in the form of reports, conferences and
as an expert witness in court. Currently Dr Gibb produces about
70 reports per year for claimants and defendants.
Consequent to Dr Donald Gibb's interest
in pregnancy and care during labour and delivery at King's College
Hospital, Dr Donald Gibb has become a recognised independent
expert in this field.
Dr Gibb also founded the Birth Company in 2000 after working
more than 15 years at Knigs College Hospital. The Birth Company
is a leading London Women's pregnancy and childbirth clinic,
and also specialises in general obstetrics and gynaecology
care and fertility assessments. The practice has the added
benefit of having a highly qualified complementary therapy
team.
Dr Gibb specialises in fetal assessment performing ultrasound
scans, including screening for fetal abnormalities and Down's
syndrome. He has admitting rights for supervising births at
the Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth and the Portland
Hospital for Women and Children. He also has admitting rights
at the Wellington Hospital.
